Staring at breasts give men a longer life

A reader sent me the link to this story and said I should let everyone know. Here's the story:

"Stare at boobs for longer life: Study

Frankfurt, Germany, December 6, 2009 - A rather bizarre study carried out by German researchers suggests that staring at women's breasts is good for men's health and increases their life expectancy.

According to Dr. Karen Weatherby, a gerontologist and author of the study, gawking at women’s breasts is a healthy practice, almost at par with an intense exercise regime, that prolongs the lifespan of a man by five years.

She added, "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female, is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out."

Researchers at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany did an in-depth analysis of 200 healthy males over a period of five years. Half the volunteers were instructed to ogle at the breasts of women daily, while the rest were told to refrain from doing so.

At the close of the study, the researchers noted that the men who stared at the breasts of females on a regular basis exhibited lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates and lesser episodes of coronary artery ... disease.

...Weatherby explained the concept stating, "Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation. There's no question: Gazing at breasts makes men healthy.

"Our study indicates that engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of stroke and heart attack in half. We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life four to five years."

..The German research is believed to be published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

When I first got this link, I thought, the doctors name sure sounded American or British, not German. I then went to The new England Journal of Medicine, typed in the doctors name and found nothing. I then went to snopes.com and found it was a fake story.

I still thought it was pretty funny and wanted to share it. If it was true, nudism would boom!

Now the even funnier thing is the site themedguru.com is supposedly a medical advice portal. This article is still up. Makes you really wonder what type of job editing do they do. I discovered it was a fake in less than 5 minutes. I hope they do a better job researching other articles.

Again reinforces, take everything you read with a grain of salt. It's OK to take the extra sodium, you don't have to worry about it elevating your blood pressure. Just stare at some boobs like in this blog for 10 minutes and your blood pressure will be fine.

Time to go nude sunbathing - Natural Vit D produced by sunshine is the best for the human body

Sadly, many doctors and the press have vilified suntanning. One of the results of this bad policy is it's estimated that 70% of Americans have a Vitamin D deficiency.

The drug industry and many doctors of course say the way to fix this Vit D deficiency is with a pill or fortification of food. Of course the problem is humans adapted over time to getting Vitamin D the sun not pills.

Now slowly more and more doctors are recommending getting out into the sun as it's good for you. Something nude sunbathers have naturally always known.

"Basically there are two types of oral vitamin D supplements. The natural ones are D3, and they contain the same vitamin D your body makes when exposed to sunshine. The synthetic ones are vitamin D2, which are sometimes called ergocalciferol.

Once either form of the vitamin is in your body, it needs to be converted to a more active form. Vitamin D3 is converted 500 percent faster than vitamin D2...

However, nearly all the prescription-based supplements contain synthetic vitamin D2, which was first produced in the 1920s through ultraviolet exposure of foods. The process was patented and licensed to drug companies for use in prescription vitamins. In case you didn't know, the vitamin D that is added to milk is NOT D3 but the highly inferior vitamin D2.

The study linked above concluded that "vitamin D2 should no longer be regarded as a nutrient appropriate for supplementation or fortification of foods."

That being said, optimizing your sun exposure and levels of vitamin D3 may, indeed, be one of the most important physical steps you can take in support of your long-term health. Conventional medicine is finally beginning to get on board the vitamin-D3 bandwagon, using the natural power of sunshine to treat type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis during a woman's pregnancy and even tuberculosis.

It is important to understand that the ideal and STRONGLY preferred method of increasing your vitamin D3 level is through appropriate sun exposure...

But when you get your vitamin D from appropriate sun exposure your body can indeed self-regulate and greatly reduce vitamin D production if you don't need it, which makes it very difficult to overdose on vitamin D from sun exposure...

Nude Jude, The Terra Cotta inn pound Puppy gets mentioned in her first Tripadvisor review

Everyone loves Jude our new puppy. She's a Black Lab/Shepherd mix. Her personality though is a Labrador. She just loves people. To her, everything is a toy or game. She won the doggy lottery of life living and "working" at Terra Cotta Inn, Palm Springs, California. Everyone always comments on how happy she is.

Now http://tripadvisor.com reviews are very important for nudist resorts and potential guests. Guests, usually give non biased reviews which help future guests decide where to go. For instance, if you read trip advisor reviews for nudist resorts in Palm Springs, you would quickly learn that when we say we are the ONLY nudist resort that is popular and busy 7 days a week in Palm Springs, and the ONLY one that caters to couples on vacation, it's an accurate statement. That's why we are almost always the first choice for couples booking longer than just a Saturday night in Palm Springs.

At the same time, if you want a nudist resort that no one goes to midweek so that you don't have to see or talk with other people, trip advisor reports tell you don't go to The Terra Cotta Inn go elsewhere because we are so popular and have such a high repeat guest rate.

We heard nothing but great things about Tom and Mary Clare and they did not disappoint for a moment. The guests were very friendly when you wished to be social and also respectful of your quite time too. The grounds are well kept. The
pool is heated to the low 80's [Tom's note: actually 86F]. The jacuzzi is nice and warm too! A great breakfast each morning which I enjoyed with the complimentary
newspaper each morning poolside. Then pure R&R! At Terra Cotta there
are no organized activities. Relax, read and just take some sun...

Late afternoon brought a nice happy hour with complimentary wine and appetizers.
Terra Cotta does not have a restaurant or a bar. We had a room with a kitchen and they have a great built in gas BBQ but you could order from a local restaurant too.
It is BYOB which is refreshing after paying $10 a glass at so many of
the other resorts. And the best thing is that you are literally minutes
from downtown Palm Springs and the tremendous restaurants it offers! [Tom's note: We use a local restaurant to cater lunches so you don't have to go out. And for dinner 10 different restaurants deliver here. Once you check in, you do not have to leave unless you want to.]

The best surprise for us was Jude, the resort's new puppy! She is so much
fun and really loves to have a romp with her toys a few times a day. She
is pretty respectful of non-dog people too, especially since us dog
people wore her out playing!...

I would highly recommend a stay at Terra Cotta and suggest you book well
in advance as they have a high occupancy rate every week of the year"
