No nudity at this years Bay to Breakers run sponsor says - Just say no to ING

Leave it to a big impersonal corporation to ruin all the fun. ING is a sponsor of this years Bay to Breakers fun run. They have said they will have zero tolerance for alcohol and nudity at the race.

I almost wish I had an ING account. That way I could close it and tell them because of their closed minded corporate sensibilities, until they realize Bay to Breakers is a celebration of life, not squashing the life and fun out of this event, I will not do business with them. If you have an ING account, I encourage you to close it in protest.

"Clothes, sobriety required for Bay to Breakers

SAN FRANCISCO—Organizers of San Francisco's annual Bay to Breakers 12K race—famous for contestants in wacky costumes, or no costume at all—want the event to be a little less racy this year.
In a statement announcing the May 17 event, race sponsor ING said it would have a "zero tolerance policy" on alcohol. Wheeled objects and nudity also won't be allowed, organizers said.

The 97-year-old footrace draws thousands of participants...

Last year, neighbors complained loudly of a shortage of trash bins and portable toilets.

Race spokeswoman Danielle Clark says the policies mainly enforce existing laws and aren't intended to squash the festiveness of the event...

"We're not taking the fun out of the race," Clark said. "We're just implementing a few small policies to make sure it's a fun and safe race.'"

Implementing a "few small policies." Give me a break. They are radically changing Bay to Breakers.

This is my advice. If you have an ING account close it and tell them you will not do business with them until they change their policy towards Bay to Breakers. If the police have had no problems with nudes running in the race, why should ING?

Next, if they persist in this childishness towards nudity in Bay to Breakers march in the race with protest signs making fun of ING. If they want to take away the fun of Bay to Breakers, make sure that they don't profit from their ill conceived policies. Contact the press before hand so they know of your protest.

And ING, since you do appear to be "full of it" add more toilets and trash containers along the race route.

San Onofre Nude beach ruling appealed by the state

It looks like the head of the California Parks and Recreation wants to waste more taxpayer money. San Onofre nude beach has been a successfully run nude beach for over 30 years until the new head of the parks department decided no more nudes.

She forced nudists to go to court to enforce the California laws allowing San Onofre to stay open. She violated the law closing down this popular nude beach and lost. Now she wants to waste more taxpayer money appealing the case.

Instead of seeing how successfully run nude beaches like Haulover Beach in Miami and Sandy Hook nude beach are, she is imposing her own prudish ways wanting to Close San Onofre.

The losers are nudists and California taxpayers. It is too bad that we can't make her personally pay for all the state taxpayer money she is wasting on this case.

And America is called the "land of the free?" Not if you want to nude sunbathe on American beaches.
