Do you have ideas for fun, big events to promote nude recreation?

AANR has a new President, Susan Weaver. She's a great person and I look forward to nude recreation growing under her guidance.

I am on the AANR West and National PR committees. We are looking for fun PR events that can be staged hopefully nationwide, but it's OK if it's not nation wide as long as it has good and positive PR potential.

The Guinness World record Skinny dip and this Guinness nude roller coaster ride are 2 good fun examples of positive PR events.

I'm asking people, if you have ideas, let me know. You can leave comments here. You can personally e-mail me at tom@sunnyfun.com or you can call me at 800-786-6938. Just ask for Tom. I'll be happy to talk.

Here's the story on the Guinness record setting naked roller coaster ride:

"Hair-raising ... naked thrill-seekers on ride

The big stripper

MORE than 100 thrill-seekers rode a roller coaster naked, smashing the world record.

The 102 butt-naked adrenaline junkies let it all hang out as they took on the swerves and loops of the fairground ride to raise £22,000 for breast cancer research...

Senior Fundraising Manager at Bosom Pals, Barbara Warner said: "It takes a lot of nerve to take off all your clothes in front of 102 complete strangers, plus the world's media - so we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who was brave enough to bare all and raise such a huge amount of cash more than £22,000 - for our vitally important cause."

I look forward to hearing your ideas. Tom

A Vitamin D deficiency is rampant among Americans

For some reason, American doctors went overboard scaring people about skin cancer and the sun. Many Americans are now scared of the sun. They never go outdoors without covering up and using a high SPF sunscreen. Now we find that 85% of Americans are Vitamin D deficient.

I believe in moderation. Everyone should get some sun. When you are in the sun, your body naturally produces its own Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin. Vitamin D has many health benefits from preventing breast cancer and prostate cancer, to helping the cardiovascular system.

Last year I wrote about the President of the Italian Dermatology Association recommending people spend two hours per day in the sun total body sunbathing. The doctor recommended total body sunbathing. Here's my previous post: click here It is NSFW.

Of course nudists have known for years that the sun is good for you.

Here's the article about Vitamin D deficiency and Americans:

"Vitamin D linked to cancer prevention, yet 85% of Americans are vitamin D deficient

D is a vitamin we can get for free. It comes from the natural UVB rays of the sun and when people get enough vitamin D it can protect the body’s immune system and prevent ill health.

Most of the United States population, however, is vitamin D deficient.

A team of medical professionals lead by Dr. William Grant and the Sunlight, Nutrition and Health research center conducted an analysis of breast cancer mortality rates according to geographic region location.

The study “shows the highest rates in the northeast and urban areas, and lowest rates in the south and rural areas. According to this analysis, breast cancer risk could be cut in half by sufficient vitamin D levels.”...

For the full article and to see recommended levels for vitamin D, Click Here

So if you want to increase your vitamin D, go nude sunbathing!

Our resort, The Terra Cotta Inn clothing optional resort and spa located in Palm Springs, California, the sunniest city in the US is the perfect place to try nude sunbathing. The Terra Cotta Inn is the most mainstream nudist resort in the US. It is perfect for couples trying topless or nude sunbathing for the first time. You will love it here as it is so much fun.
