No Smoke in sunny Palm Springs - Only Blue Skies

I am very sad for the people who have lost their homes in the Los Angeles wildfires. Even sadder for the firemen who lost their lives.

Southern California is big. These fires are over 130 miles away and NOT in our wind pattern. They are all north of Palm Springs

We have had a lot of people calling, worried that we had smoke. The wind patterns are not bringing in smoke.

We have 100% blue skies. There is no smell of smoke.

California Wildfires not affecting Terra Cotta Inn

Hi everyone,

Sadly many people have had their homes burnt by the California wildfires. Some of the fires are in Santa Barbara which is about 150 miles away from Palm Springs.

There are also some wildfires in Riverside county about 75 miles away from Palm Springs.

As you can see, none of these fires are anywhere near our town.

Also we are NOT in the smoke patterns. Our skies are 100% blue. There is NO SMOKE in or near Palm Springs.

Unfortunately, TV in their doom and gloom reporting, want to make it look like ALL of Los Angeles is on fire has scared many people. This is NOT true.

Don't worry, you will have a great smoke free time on your vacation in Palm Springs.
