Nudist History was made - The Nude Night Out with Cathy Ladman Show was a GREAT SUCCESS

The crowd never laughed so hard in all their lives. Cathy Ladman was a big hit. The guests loved her. And she loved performing for our guests.

We made nudist history last night! And will make TV history next year when the show airs.An A list comedian has never performed before at any nudist resorts, ever. And to be shot for mainstream TV is even bigger.

Cathy Ladman, the famous comedian said it was the BEST show of her lifetime. And she has probably done over 1000 shows. She was so nervous performing in front of a nude audience here, but she pulled it off.

Cathy, the director, and her manager said it was so good, they have to be super careful on how they edit it, as they think they shot Emmy caliber material last night.

Sadly, we have signed a confidentiality agreement (which is understandable as they do NOT want anything leaked to the press). They took a few pics of the 3 of us with my camera. They wouldn't even let me photograph our special events room to show how they decorated it as they do not want that leaked.

They had cameras going for about half the day showing how they set up the room, interviewed us, guests that wanted to be interviewed, etc. http://clothesfree.com was here and they even interviewed Cathy. They are letting ClothesFree TV air that before the show.

So thank you everyone that attended. We all know what a great time we had. And once it airs on TV, I'll let everyone know.

Come Join The Terra Cotta Inn Clothing Optional resort and Spa, Palm Springs, California this Saturday October 22nd at 7:00pm when Cathy Ladman gives the performance of a lifetime, baring her soul, and maybe even a little bit more all in the name of Comedy.

Cathy has performed on the Tonight show nine times. She has won the American Comedy Award for best Female Stand up comic. She has performed in many TV comedy shows and movies. She also writes comedy, having written for the Rosanne and Caroline in the City sitcoms.

And the Terra Cotta Inn is equally as famous recently winning the Los Angeles Times Readers Choice Awards in July 2011 for the most popular small resort in all Southern California. They were selected as a feature Travel destination in Los Angeles Magazine's Best of LA edition. Terra Cotta Inn also won the Best of the Best of Palm Springs award by Palm Springs Life Magazine in December 2010. They were selected as the best small resort in Palm Springs not because of being exclusive and snobby. Quite the opposite. They're the best because the guests have so much fun there and TCI is an extremely good value. This show is a perfect example of why they are so popular. The Desert Sun, Palm Springs local newspaper has reported they are the most mainstream nudist resort in America and perfect for couples trying topless or nude sunbathing for the first time.

Cathy has recently come out of the closet and admited that she has an eating disorder. As she says "I'm a stand-up comic, and I've written a show called "Does This Show Make Me Look Fat?" It's all about my struggle with anorexia and my journey through recovery. I want to do a show that would speak to the thousands (at least) of people who struggle with anorexia or other eating disorders, some of whom may not even know they have it. It's a baffling disease, but there is hope for recovery. Most definitely."

Cathy's show will be a light hearted self probing as she pokes fun at her self, growing up in New York, her life in Los Angeles, her relationships, and life in general.

We met Cathy on Monday as she is wonderful. Very sweet, down to earth, and funny in person.

Cathy felt producing her show at the top clothing optional resort in the US will be a great way to get her message about eating disorders out to everyone as nudists are the one group of people who are naturally happy in their own skin. She wants to learn from us why we are so happy and comfortable with our bodies and at the same time entertain us with her fun brand of comedy. This will be a great way to show the world that nudists are just like everyone else except we have better tans and enjoy life more, and have great senses of humor!

All guests must sign a release when they arrive for the performance, as the camera will pan the audience in its natural state and you may appear nude when the program airs on TV. Attendees do not have to be guests staying at The Terra Cotta Inn that evening to enjoy the show. The show will be held in Terra Cotta Inn's events room. Craig Ferguson entered the world of late night comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. Since taking the helm of the Late, Late Show on January 3, 2005, the show has set all-time viewer records in the five years that it has been on the air. Craig most recently was seen in the highly successful animated feature “How to Train Your Dragon” as the Viking, ‘Gobber.’
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Ferguson got his start in the entertainment industry as a drummer for some of the worst punk bands in the U.K., a profession he held for several years. Following his musical stint, he began bartending in a local pub in Glasgow where he was introduced to Michael Boyd, the artistic director of The Tron Theatre in Glasgow, who persuaded Ferguson to give acting a go. After several low paying acting gigs, Ferguson discovered he had a knack for comedy and was soon the star of his own BBC television show, The Ferguson Theory.

After several stints on the English comedy circuit, Ferguson brought his act to America in 1995 to star with Betty White and Marie Osmond in the short-lived ABC comedy Maybe This Time. After the show ended, ABC decided to add the talented Scotsman to The Drew Carey Show, playing Drew Carey's boss, Nigel Wick, from 1996-2003.

Ferguson has written the feature films The Big Tease and Saving Grace. In 2003, he made his directorial debut with I'll Be There, which he also wrote and starred in. I'll Be There went on to receive the Audience Award for Best Film at the Aspen, Dallas, and Valencia film festivals. Craig was also named "best new director" at the Napa Valley Film Festival. Ferguson’s other film credits include, Niagra Motel, Lenny the Wonder Dog, Prendimi l’anima, Life Without Dick, Chain of Fools, Born Romantic and The Big Tease.

In April 2006, Ferguson debuted his first novel entitled Between The Bridge and The River, which made it onto the best seller list. In the novel, two childhood friends from Scotland and two illegitimate half-brothers from the deep South suffer and enjoy all manner of bizarre adventures which, it turns out, are somehow interconnected-and, even more surprisingly, meaningful. The eclectic cast of characters features Socrates, Carl Jung, and Tony Randall; while love, greed, hope, revenge, organized religion, and Hollywood also make special appearances.

Since coming into his own on the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and winning his first Emmy nomination in 2006, Craig has seem to become the topic of conversation within the media and a growing trend of success in 2010. In February 2008 he succeeded in becoming a US Citizen mentioning that this is his home after thirteen years and “my heart is here.” Soon after, Craig had landed himself the biggest date of all; A date with President Bush hosting the White House Correspondence Dinner. Critics raved of his witty and comical deliverance speech to the 3,000 attendees who included political journalists, celebrities, and Washington’s power players. Last fall, Harper Collins published Ferguson’s memoir America On Purpose- a book about why and how late night funnyman, Craig Ferguson became an American. The book was listed on the New York Times bestseller list and continues to sell well to date.

Ferguson also serves on the board of the Lollipop Theater Network. The mission of the Lollipop Theater Network is to bring movies that are currently in theatrical release to hospitalized children facing chronic and life threatening illness nationwide."
