No damage done to Terra Cotta Inn from Mexican Earthquake

The Mexican earthquake did not damage Terra Cotta Inn.

There was a 7.2 earthquake this afternoon in the Mexican State of Baja which is just south of the California border. It was centered around 20 miles from Mexicali which would make it maybe 125 south of Palm Springs.

We felt the earthquake for about 15 seconds. Waves were created in the pool and water actually splashed out of the pool.

Since most of the guests here today were from out of state, Canada, and Australia everyone thought it was fascinating. Sadly I have read 2 people died in Mexico and about another 100 have been reported injured.

We hope there will be no more injuries or deaths discovered.

We have received a lot of phone calls and e-mails from guests around the world concerned about us.

Anyway I wanted everyone to know, there was no damage done to our resort. Not 1 thing fell off of a table. So we are fine. The weather is fantastic, we hope to see everyone real soon.
