Time to go nude sunbathing - Natural Vit D produced by sunshine is the best for the human body


Sadly, many doctors and the press have vilified suntanning. One of the results of this bad policy is it's estimated that 70% of Americans have a Vitamin D deficiency.

The drug industry and many doctors of course say the way to fix this Vit D deficiency is with a pill or fortification of food. Of course the problem is humans adapted over time to getting Vitamin D the sun not pills.

Now slowly more and more doctors are recommending getting out into the sun as it's good for you. Something nude sunbathers have naturally always known.

"Basically there are two types of oral vitamin D supplements. The natural ones are D3, and they contain the same vitamin D your body makes when exposed to sunshine. The synthetic ones are vitamin D2, which are sometimes called ergocalciferol.

Once either form of the vitamin is in your body, it needs to be converted to a more active form. Vitamin D3 is converted 500 percent faster than vitamin D2...

However, nearly all the prescription-based supplements contain synthetic vitamin D2, which was first produced in the 1920s through ultraviolet exposure of foods. The process was patented and licensed to drug companies for use in prescription vitamins. In case you didn't know, the vitamin D that is added to milk is NOT D3 but the highly inferior vitamin D2.

The study linked above concluded that "vitamin D2 should no longer be regarded as a nutrient appropriate for supplementation or fortification of foods."

That being said, optimizing your sun exposure and levels of vitamin D3 may, indeed, be one of the most important physical steps you can take in support of your long-term health. Conventional medicine is finally beginning to get on board the vitamin-D3 bandwagon, using the natural power of sunshine to treat type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis during a woman's pregnancy and even tuberculosis.

It is important to understand that the ideal and STRONGLY preferred method of increasing your vitamin D3 level is through appropriate sun exposure...

But when you get your vitamin D from appropriate sun exposure your body can indeed self-regulate and greatly reduce vitamin D production if you don't need it, which makes it very difficult to overdose on vitamin D from sun exposure...

It's estimated 1Billion people in the world have a Vitamin D Deficiency - Time to go nude sunbathing!



Do you know who the happiest people in the world are? If you said nudists, you're right. Now there's scientific proof that proves this. Vitamin D fights depression. And nude sunbathers have a higher Vitamin D level then non nude sunbathers. Thus, less depression.

In western society, especially America, it seems everything is taken to extremes. Dermatologists have sad no sun, yet we need Vitamin D the sunshine Vitamin to survive. Now this extremism has created a massive Vitamin D deficiency in humans. This could be one of the reasons why autoimmune diseases like asthma and allergies are on the rise.

For the last 30 years or so, doctors (dermatologists in particular), health officials, beauty experts and many product companies have been demonizing the sun. They've told us to avoid it because without sunscreen, exposure to the sun's rays will damage skin and cause cancer. But this oversimplification distorts the facts. In the past few years, numerous studies have shown that optimizing your vitamin D levels may actually help prevent as many as 16 different types of cancer including pancreatic, lung, breast, ovarian, prostate and colon cancers. And the best way to optimize Vitamin D levels is through safe, smart and limited sunscreen-free exposure to the sun.

For hundreds of thousands of years, man has lived with the sun: Our ancestors were outdoors far more often than indoors. Studies show that as many as three out of four Americans suffer from Vitamin D deficiency. A study published in 2009 in the Archives of Internal Medicine (a leading scientific journal), found that 70 percent of Caucasians, 90 percent of Hispanics and 97 percent of African Americans in the US have insufficient blood levels of vitamin D. Indeed, it's thought to be the most common medical condition in the world, affecting over one billion people and we now have research showing just how essential vitamin D is to health.

...Independent scientific research has shown that whether you live in a sunny or not-so-sunny climate, exposure to the sun and its UVB radiation will increase your production of vitamin D and help lower the risk of a host of debilitating and fatal diseases -- including many cancers, heart disease, high blood pressure, Type I diabetes, multiple sclerosis and depression.

And now the experts are concerned that we're passing an epidemic of vitamin D deficiency down to a new generation. Studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency may imprint on an infant for the rest of his/her life. Infants that are vitamin D deficient at birth can remain vitamin D deficient for the first several months after birth, which may put them at risk of developing many chronic diseases much later in life...

We now know that almost every cell and tissue in our body has vitamin D receptors, which raises the question: Why would those receptors be there if they weren't meant to have an effect?

A Vitamin D deficiency is rampant among Americans


For some reason, American doctors went overboard scaring people about skin cancer and the sun. Many Americans are now scared of the sun. They never go outdoors without covering up and using a high SPF sunscreen. Now we find that 85% of Americans are Vitamin D deficient.

I believe in moderation. Everyone should get some sun. When you are in the sun, your body naturally produces its own Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin. Vitamin D has many health benefits from preventing breast cancer and prostate cancer, to helping the cardiovascular system.

Last year I wrote about the President of the Italian Dermatology Association recommending people spend two hours per day in the sun total body sunbathing. The doctor recommended total body sunbathing. Here's my previous post: click here It is NSFW.

Of course nudists have known for years that the sun is good for you.

Nudists are the happiest people around


Sunday's parade Magazine had a health article giving people healthy tips for the nude year. One was to get more vitamin D.

Here is what is said "A low level of vitamin D - the 'sunshine vitamin' - can put a damper on your mood. Depressed people had 14% less vitamin D in their blood than non-depressed people in a Dutch study...So load up on D: While you're improving your mood, you'll be helping your bones, too..."

So now we know why nudists are so happy and well adjusted. It is all the Vitamin D our bodies make when we are nude sunbathing.
