Khloe Kardashian has a nipple slip on Fox TV

As reported by US magazine.

"Khloe Kardashian had a prolonged wardrobe malfunction on live TV Tuesday morning -- unwittingly exposing her breast through a completely sheer black top...

Fox has since yanked the video of the R-rated interview from its site. But Khloe has no regrets!

"My mom just called me saying my nip slip is 'all over the internet!'" she tweeted Tuesday afternoon. "Ha! Is it weird that I love it?! Who knew nipples were so special?"

In an earlier Tweet (some fans wondered whether her account was hacked), the reality star supposedly wrote: "Thank God! I f***ing love nipples!"

For the full story click here

First, I bet Khloe knew something might happen by wearing that top. And I find it hard to believe that it was not noticed by the studio editors. this is FOX TV after all.

But, it does show as Khloe said, "who knew nipples were so special." Everyone has nipples. The only difference is the size, shape and color. What's the big deal? So ankles were considered sexy in the 1890's, calves in the roaring '20's, midriffs in the 1930's, nipples in the 2000's. Back in the 1700's women used to go to society dances wearing dresses that exposed their bare breasts.

Isn't it about time we realized bare breasts and nipples are no big deal?

PS, Mary Clare and I've appeared nude on TV many times. It's no big deal.

An interesting look at Freedom of the Press in the US

There is more to this story than just a funny prank in Minneapolis.

As far as the story line goes, this seems like a funny prank, which I bet it is. Someone painted a bra on a billboard advertising the art museum's show of paintings by the grand master Titian. The artwork on the billboard was topless. You can see the before and after photos of the billboard here.

If you notice, this story is from the Daily Mail newspaper in London, England.

I googled this story and saw there were 25 google news mentions. 24 from the US, and this article from the Daily Mail. Guess how many websites in the US ran the before photo? Zero, Nada, Zilch. Now this is the true censorship story. These publications are either such bad journalists that they didn't ask for a before photo from the Art museum like the Daily Mail did, or they are scared to death to show even a 450 year old famous painting of a mythical woman with bare breasts.

So much for freedom of the press in the USA. It's a myth. The government doesn't have to censor us, we're already doing it to ourselves. No more Watergate investigative reporting. News is now about entertainment.

According to reporters without borders survey in 2010, the US is ranked only the 20th most free press in the world out of 178 countries. We're closer in press freedom to Ghana, Nambia, Mali and Latvia than we are to Germany, Sweden, or Switzerland. On a positive note, the US has taken great strides to improve our press freedom. As Americans know, from the years 2001-2009 press freedom in the US almost disappeared. Just 5 years ago we were close to 50th in free press in the world which meant most of the western world had a freer press than us.

Yet, with this story here, the American press won't show a painting of a topless mythical woman that is 450 years old. That is pathetic and our press should be ashamed of itself.

Here's the British story:

"It's a cover up! The Titian billboard that was given a little tweak by rather prudish vandals

Titian's masterpiece of the Goddess Venus has managed to be inoffensive to spectators for more than 450 years.

But one graffiti artist in Minnesota seems to be a little bit prudish about her naked bosom being on display for all to see on a street side billboard.

Clambering up the billboard for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts' Titian exhibition, he gave its star attraction – a bare-chested Venus Rising from the Sea - a bright red bra.

Of course, he could just have been worried the Greek Goddess of Love was a little chilly in the sub-zero temperatures of Minnesota, which would explain why he added the letters: 'Brrr!'...

A spokeswoman for the MIA said: 'Without those words it did look as though some one's trying to censor it.'

'But with '"Brrrr!" it has that whole sort of funny element. Because it is cold.'..."

Excellent article about women's rights to bare their breasts in public

In the late 1800's in teh US, the sight of a woman's bare ankle was scandalous. Then in the roaring '20's flapper girls showing off bare calves were considered "loose." By the 1940's women could finally wear skirts coming below the knees and 2 piece (not bikini) bathing suits were coming into style. In 1946, French engineer Louis Reard is given credit for "inventing" the modern bikini. And of course in Europe, topless bikinis are very popular on all beaches, especially Spanish beaches where topless sunbathing is legal.

Yet, if you look at the above photo, you will see it is of a mosaic from the 4th century AD of Italian women in bikinis.

And going back further Queen Nefertiti of Egypt and many fellow Egyptians enjoyed public nudity.

"Nudity in Early Egypt

A fascinating tale of early sun worship and nudity was unearthed in 1887 at Tell-el-Amarna, a small Egyptian village on the banks of the Nile some 200 miles south of Cairo. There, an Arab woman accidentally stumbled upon the baked-clay tablet archives of Pharaoh Akhen-Aton (1385-1353 B.C.). It was learned through the subsequent translation of these tablets that the brilliant young pharaoh and his exquisitely beautiful queen, Nefertiti, considered the sun, Aton, to be the true wellspring of life and thus justified the practice of nudism for spiritual and physical advancement." from http://www.primitivism.com/nudity.htm

It seems "modern" American society has forgotten how to enjoy life clothes free.

Today in the US, women can still be arrested for being topless at most beaches and doing activities men can do shirtless. But, don't forget, men could be arrested for being shirtless at beaches until the 1930's, because it was thought women would not be able to handle the sight of a man's bare nipple.

A college student from MA wrote a very good article about women needing to get the right to bare their breasts anywhere it is acceptable for a man to do so.

Here it is:

"If you’ve ever been out walking on a hot summer day, you know that sometimes clothes can make you unbearably sweaty and uncomfortable. If you’re a man, you can try to cope with this problem by taking your shirt off, and no one will complain. If you’re a woman and you do the same, you’re likely to get arrested.

In most parts of the U.S., it is illegal for women to go topless in public. Women may legally do so only in six states, and specific cities and beaches. If a woman goes topless in public anywhere else in America, it is considered indecent exposure. In Massachusetts, the maximum penalty for indecent exposure is up to six months in jail and a $200 fine...

The strongest argument for keeping women’s tops on is that women must be protected from men. According to this argument, men simply are not able to control themselves at the sight of a woman’s bare breasts and would sexually harass, assault, or even rape them. However, women are expected to cover their hair in certain cultures and religious groups. These groups believe that if a woman’s hair— a supposedly sexual part of her body – was to be seen, men would not be able to control their desires. Regardless of religious belief, though, women typically leave their hair uncovered in the U.S., since we don’t consider it to be a sexual entity. Even if a woman does have beautiful hair, men are easily able to control themselves. There is nothing inherently sexual about a woman’s hair, and similarly, there is nothing inherently sexual about a woman’s breasts. Both ideas, in fact, are mere societal constructs.

Other people will say that they aren’t comfortable with being forced to see women’s breasts in public. After all, not everybody has attractive breasts, and who wants to see ugly women go topless? Nonetheless, not everybody has a body that is widely considered attractive, and yet we are “forced” to see them every day – sometimes in shorts or a bathing suit. Finding someone, male or female, unattractive is not a viable reason for forcing them to cover up, or for arresting them if they refuse to do so...

Another pervasive argument against women’s toplessness is that children must be protected from the sight of breasts. However, breastfed children grow up seeing their mothers’ breasts, and it doesn’t seem to affect them adversely. Moreover, European children who go to public beaches see women’s breasts, and it doesn’t traumatize them...

Far from preventing sexual assaults, the law against women’s toplessness is part of a way of thinking that is harmful to both men and women. If we take steps to change the law, our society’s attitudes will adjust and such a change in attitude will protect women far more effectively than a t-shirt ever could.

It's still so sad that Mary Clare, if she wanted to walk outside would have to wear at least a tube top instead of being able to be topless. Hopefully, this situation will change for future generations.

Topless European Style Sunbathing Pools seen as a gimmick in Las Vegas

A number of years ago, some Las Vegas hotels decided to operate topless pools. To sound more exotic, they called them European style sunbathing pools.

We've been to 2 of them. One at Caesars and one at Mandalay Bay. Needless to say, none of them compare to nice nudist resorts.

We did a review of the Las Vegas European sunbathing pools a few years ago. Here is some of what I wrote:

"As [a reporter] writes "pool visitors regularly steal not-so-furtive glances of anything they can glimpse [meaning naked breasts]."...

The first thing you need to know is the whole purpose of those adult pools in Las Vegas... is to try to get some women to take off their tops and to be the "entertainment" for guys which will spend a lot of money on drinks and entrance fees. Margaritas for instance are $12.50. Call brand cocktails are $15.00. Entrance fees for guys are $10 to $50/day. These pools need topless women to keep the guys drinking. We were told some of the pools pay showgirls to topless sunbathe midweek when they can't get "civilians" to topless sunbathe.

...Las Vegas pools are NOT for women where it is their first time topless sunbathing in public as the guys very obviously stare and blatantly check out the topless women. They make the women feel very uncomfortable...

When we got there [Caesars] on Wednesday, the regular bathing suit pool was packed. The Venus pool was about 1/3 full. There were 4 rows of lounge chairs. The ones next to the pool were reserved for high rollers or you could rent them for $150-$250/day depending on how busy they were. They had 6 cabanas that rented for $650-1000 per day or again went to high rollers...

There were maybe 15 couples and another 25 guys with groups of 2 to 6 guys hanging around.

We sat on the lounge chairs. We looked around. Not one single woman was topless. Mary Clare commented, "this is really creepy." A pool attendant walked by and Mary Clare asked "is this really is a topless pool" to which the attendant said midweek sometimes no one goes topless all day long, and at other times a few women go topless. He said they only really have some topless women on Saturdays and Sundays.

Mary Clare told me that even though we own a nudist resort, even though she is comfortable having nude pictures of herself used on our blog and website, she feels really uncomfortable going topless there. However, since we are there to report on the Las Vegas European style sunbathing experience, she decided she will take off her bikini top. I told her she didn't have too, but she insisted to get a full flavor for their experience...

As soon as Mary Clare went topless, a woman sitting right across from us immediately took off her top too. She obviously did not want to be the only woman with bare breasts there.

Then came the next phenomenon. Guys in lounge chairs "had" to get up and walk right past Mary Clare and this other woman. And when they got in front of Mary Clare and the other woman, most slowed down and blatantly stared for a second or 2 and walked on. The other woman and her male friend left after maybe 15 minutes of her being topless.

We were there for about 3 hours and it was nonstop new guys walking by stopping and staring as if they had never seen bare breasts before in their lives. Now in all fairness, once the guys had walked by the topless women once, most didn't walk by again. They just stared from their lounge chairs.

When we left at 3pm there were maybe 20 couples and maybe 50 guys there. There was never more than 3 women at a time topless sunbathing. Most woman would take of their top and then either cover back up after being subjected to all the guys leers or they would leave shortly after going topless.

Women wearing bikinis, tops and bottoms were not subjected to the leers.

It was hot. Here at our resort, we invested in a $6000 poolside misting/cooling system. It is state of the art and our guests love it. At the Venus pool, they have the misters like at our resort, but only at the cabanas. Everyone else is treated like a second class citizen and has to suffer in the heat...

Needless to say, the experience was very unsatisfactory. If you are a woman going topless for the first time, you will feel so intimidated by all the men, you will never try it again. It is not a pleasant experience like you find at nudist resorts.

Mary Clare, said to me, she felt like a piece of meat on display for hungry dogs (the men). She would have kept her top on except to experience the European style pool for herself...

In conclusion, you can tell no one has a clue as to how to run a nice topless pool. I assume no one has ever been to a topless beach in Spain or France. If they had, they would know, just like we know, the most important thing is make the woman feel comfortable. If she doesn't, the couple will never come back. We for instance we will never try the Venus pool again unless we hear from guests that it is more women friendly.

Caesars Palaces topless pool is a phony "European style" pool as much as the Las Vegas strip is an imitation of real Venice, Paris, New York, etc."

Now a Las Vegas hotel operator admits topless pools are just a gimmick and obviously one they do not know how to properly manage.

Here's the story:

"Resorts weigh pros and cons of topless pool scene

A volatile mix of Strip debauchery — topless women and pools filled with booze-buoyed partygoers — may be running its course.

Some nightclub managers, who run the poolside dayclubs, say they may be more trouble than they’re worth.

Last summer, Metro Police arrested 11 people at the Rio’s Sapphire Pool, a topless pool run by the Sapphire strip club. The Rio ended up shutting down Sapphire Pool...

Clark County enforcement officers are sending letters to the clubs, reminding them that topless sunbathing must be separate and obstructed from other guest areas, off-limits to minors and cannot been used for contests, parties or special events while topless sunbathing is taking place.

It’s that last part that has caused the most consternation. The topless pool scene has grown to include DJs, dancing and celebrity appearances. Although they don’t call them parties, they have included headlining performers, birthday celebrations and resort anniversaries — the normal kind of fare that’s offered at nightclubs run by the likes of Pure Management, Light Group and Tao Group — which all run topless pools in town...

Light Group President Jodi Myers said one reason it decided against topless sunbathing at its new pool is because the no-party policy limits the club’s marketing. Phil Shalala, vice president of marketing at the Hard Rock, said they felt it was a gimmick that had run its course...

In the comments section of this article someone innocently asked where his wife could go topless sunbathing at a nice place. Someone answeed the south of France. It just goes to show that nudism still has a long way to go if people still don't realize there are lots of nice nudist resorts in the US.

Guests of ours who work in the hotel industry in Vegas, say the topless pools are now all about the booze and not relaxing poolside. Their philosophy is get the women drunk so they go topless. Then encourage lots of guys to pay admittance and let them charge hundreds of dollars on their bar tabs.

If you're into drinking heavily and enjoy drunk screaming people, the Las Vegas pools are for you on the weekends. If however you are like most people and enjoy relaxing and having adult conversations instead of drunk talk, then I would stay away from the Las Vegas topless pools and go to a nice nudist resort instead.

Topless Women protest for the right to bare their breasts like men on National Go topless Day

Sunday was National Go Topless Day. Women in 8 cities protested the inequity of where women have to wear tops in the same places that men can go shirt free. One of the most common areas is at beaches and in parks.

The New York Daily News covered the story, (or should I say uncovered the story):

"Topless women march in Central Park for right to bare breasts

Topless women and and men march along Central Park South to celebrate 'National Go-Topless' Day in Manhattan Sunday afternoon...

The daring display was part of "National Go-Topless Day" - indeed, there is such a thing - and stunned jaded New Yorkers and wide-eyed tourists alike.

"This is unbelievable - and super," said Dalvin Jan, 21, who rents bicycles for a living on Central Park South. "I'm going to tell my wife to join in."

With Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman" blaring from speakers and chants of "free your breasts, free your mind," the troupe of bare-breasted women - and their enthusiastic male supporters - paraded their way along Central Park South.

"We're all here for the same reason - to allow women to be free in the park like men,"...

"I'm pretty surprised," said Carolyn Meierjurgen, 49, of New Jersey, who was taking a horse carriage ride in the park. "If they want to do it, let them do it. I couldn't," she admitted...

New York is the only state in the country where women can be topless legally, after a 1992 ruling in the state's highest court. That means any woman can walk around the city at any time with no shirt on...

"It's not about baring your breasts," she said. "But the true meaning is to normalize women's bodies."

Yesterday's protesters noted that is not always the case....

Topless events took place across the country, from Los Angeles to Columbus, Ohio...

"It's nice for them," said unfazed Swedish tourist Birgitta Asplin, 58. "It's the human body - nothing more!"

But others said it was all a very bad idea.

"This is extreme liberalism and why America's in decline," shouted one woman, who said she was a doctor but declined to give her name. "It's degrading to women to tell them to expose their breasts publicly."

"I'm not shocked - we're in New York City," said Lindsay Hall, 28, of Maryland. "But speaking from a woman's perspective, I disagree with them. There's something to be said for modesty," she added.

For the full story Click here

What some people don't understand is yes the human body is sexual and sexualized. Yet, at the same time, it is just bare skin and has no sexuality. A guy on a beach without a shirt on is just enjoying the sun. Yet, at home in bed with his wife/girlfriend being bare chested can be sexual, or again, he might just be watching TV with his kids and then there is nothing sexual about his not wearing a shirt. The same should be true for women.

People forget. Just 100 years ago, it was considered too sexual for men to go topfree at the beach. Now it is no big deal.

Over 100 years ago women drowned while swimming in full dresses because it was considered immodest to show a female calf.

Female breasts ARE NOT SEXUAL. It is what our society makes of them. Even here in Palm Springs, CA the Agua Caliente women (our local Indian tribe) lived topless until the white missionaries came in the late 1800's and "taught" them that bare female breasts were evil, so they covered up.

When people say bare breasts are sexy, that is true. But then so are bare faces, legs, rear ends, etc. Should women cover up like the Muslims in what Bill Mahr call "bee keeper suits" and only allow women's eyes to peek out?

It is time to chill out. A breast is just a breast. Breasts are only what society make of them.

A protest for Topless rights in America August 23rd

So many people in America are afraid of the sight of a woman baring her breast in public especially at a beach much less a topless beach.

Now it is deemed OK for a woman to be topless if she is paid millions of dollars by Sports Illustrated to do so. Or if she is paid to model and sell cars, clothes, magazines or something else, or but the idea that a woman would ENJOY topless sunbathing scares the pants off of so many people (pun intended).

Now gotopless.org will be holding a topless protest on August 23rd.

Here's the story:

"A Fight for the Right to Bare Boobs

...In January, U.S.-based GoTopless.org organized a topless protest at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Up until recently, nudity was illegal except on designated beaches, but local councils considered bare breasts acceptable.

However, a Christian fundamentalist politician, Rev. Fred Nile, introduced legislation in the parliament of New South Wales that would prohibit women from going topless on all beaches.

In response, topless women gathered on the Bondi Beach in protest, arguing that women's breasts are not offensive and should be considered just as natural as men's chests.

Now that battle is moving to the 'States. In eight participating cities—including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami—topless women and men will gather and peacefully rally on Sunday, August 23, "to protest the gross inequality in the law and will demand that they be granted the fundamental right to be topless where men already enjoy that right...

The Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment states that "no state shall ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws". The GoTopless.org Movement states that this Clause defends citizens from "gender-based differential treatment."

Therefore, if a man can go topless, so can a woman.

... "The aim is to convey that the sight of a top free women [sic] in public is as natural as the sight of top free men."

For more information, visit http://gotopless.org/ (Not-Safe-for-Work Warning: As can be expected, the website features photos and video of women's bare breasts.)"

Vanessa Hudgens topless photos are on the web again

I don't know anyone who knows Vanessa Hudgens. This week new topless photos of her "leaked" onto the internet.

My personal gut feel says she and her pr agent probably released these photos to increase her movies marketability since she has a new movie about to come out in a few weeks. In America bare breasts sell.

Now don't get me wrong. I think the nude human body is a beautiful thing. Ever since cavemen, artists have been painting nude humans. I would encourage Vanessa to enjoy her life in the nude. Many movie stars admit to enjoying being nude at hope. And lots go topless and nude sunbathing in Europe and the Caribbean.

However, American men seem to go crazy when they see bare breasts. Either they think the sight of bare breasts is a since worse than murder, or they go crazy and can't get enough of seeing breasts.

Now if Vanessa Hudgens had a movie role where being topless was an important part of the plot line like in Monsters Ball where Halle Berry received a best actress Academy Award, people would be complimenting her. Or if Vanessa Hudgens was "caught" innocently topless sunbathing like Hayden Panettiere people would think more highly of her.

Instead most people think of this being just a classless pr stunt. But, it is working. Last I looked, on google news, this story has been picked up 231 times, or once I post here, make it 232 times.

Funny how Vanessa really expects people to believe she had nothing to do with this, ha, ha, ha.

I wish Vanessa good luck and I hope someday she can enjoy life in the nude just like nudists do.

Sharon Stone has a topless photo on the cover of Paris Match Magazine

Paris Match Magazine is one of the most popular magazines in France. It is like a combination of Time and People magazines. Sharon Stone just appeared topless on the cover of that magazine.

Now obviously, this is not a nudist photo and it has nothing to do with nudism except to show the difference between the American attitudes towards bare breasts and the European attitudes.

We have been to Europe many times. They are very casual about nudity. To them it is really no big deal. Here in many parts of America, the sight of a woman's bare breasts is almost as bad as committing murder. Actually it is probably worse as American network TV show tons of violence, but no nudity. In Europe, they consider television violence to be bad and nudity is OK.

The Sharon Stone bare breasts story on all of the American websites, showed the cover of Paris Match with stars or black bars covering Sharon Stones breasts. The few European websites I saw covering this story, shows the actual Paris Match cover.

Even with this blog, I am not going to show the original cover as google does not allow blogs to be indexed if they show any nudity. And I want this blog to be indexed. So you will have to go to my other blog at http://terracottainn.blogspot.com to see the uncensored photo.

Topless sunbathing has a long way to go for acceptance with some women

Tom showed me this article and asked me to write a comment. It is about a women who went to Florida to South Beach debating with herself as to whether to try topless sunbathing for the first time.

Here's her story:

"Off With Her Top — Or Not?

...I figured that an afternoon at South Beach would provide for some excellent people watching... when I stepped out onto the beach, armed with flip-flops, sunglasses, and SPF 500000, my eyes were met with a little more than I had counted on seeing: breasts. Tan boobs, small boobs, round boobs, wrinkly boobs – they were dotted along the beach on full display, perched atop happily sunbathing women whose relaxed posture seemed to suggest that topless sunbathing was the most natural thing in the world. For me, however, it required some further thought...

People do it here all the time.” And then, with a little smirk, “You could do it too.”

Could I? Of course I could, but another question loomed larger in my mind: Would I? And if not, why? I certainly don’t consider myself an adherent of extreme modesty, and my tiny blue bikini was evidence of my comfort with bearing skin to the world. Furthermore, it was hot, and the idea of exposing more skin to the cool ocean breeze seemed pretty tempting under the mid-July sun. But although my hand drifted up several times to the string around my neck, I never quite got up the nerve to untie the knot and bare my breasts to the beach.

Why? This question danced in my head as I lay (quite happily, I might add) on the warm sand and listened to the pounding of the waves. What is it about women’s breasts that elicits such intense emotional reactions in America? It seems that most women are unsatisfied with the pair they’ve got, and most men are satisfied to be within 20 ft of just about any pair at all. Men go topless all the time, displaying their chests (fit, flabby, and everything in between) without a second thought. But when women do the same, they risk ridicule and unwanted attention, and in many cases even arrest for “indecent exposure.” Indecent? Really? When did the upper ventral regions of our torsos, the combination of fat, tissue, and mammary gland, become so sexualized and scandalous that they were deemed indecent for public exposure?...

Even today, there is a sharp contrast in the way topless women are perceived in America versus in other parts of the world. When I brought this up the other day with a friend who recently moved here from France, she agreed that the French have a different attitude towards the whole business of bosoms. “For years, it’s just been more acceptable. [A topless women] is not something to stare at.”...

As for me, I guess I’d say that my beliefs are a work in progress. I know for sure that I would not feel comfortable going topless on my way to a college lecture, picking up groceries, or strolling around my neighborhood – even on a hot summer’s day. Like it or not, I am a product of my society, and I know that bearing my chest in such a public way would take me far outside my comfort zone, making me feel vulnerable and uneasy... The beach is different story, however, and I think that it could be the perfect environment for me to break free of everyday boundaries and conventions, and dare myself to bare. I’m going down to Florida again in a few weeks, and this time I just might give those bikini strings a tug..."

For the full, very interesting story click here

My first time trying topless sunbathing was on a nude beach in Jamaica I was in my early 20's. Just like the writer, I found the beach to be a perfect environment to try something new, daring, and exciting. Tom and I were very nervous. We wore bathing suits to get to the beach. Once there, just like the writer, we looked around. Everyone was in their birthday suit and perfectly happy. We spread our towels and off came my bikini. We've never regretted that decision.

It was completely natural and FUN!!! The new freedom made us feel like little kids again. I didn't have to worry about sand in my suit. We loved the freedom of being nude outside. And obviously I loved since years latter I started a nudist resort here in sunny Palm Springs!

I am a big proponent for women being able to be topless anywhere a man can be shirt free. However that will take a long time to achieve in the US, if ever. Like the woman, for me to be topless in public, I have to be in my comfort zone too. Which means I would not buy groceries naked unless everyone else is too. And actually above is a pic of me buying groceries at a nudist town in the South of France and yes, it is normally to go everywhere naked in that town. You can buy gas nude, go to the Post Office nude, police station nude, and naturally the beach nude.

There are many reasons why more women don't go topless sunbathing which is the easiest way to start. The writer touches on one of the major issues. She writes "It seems that most women are unsatisfied with the pair they’ve got." This is so true. But why?

In my opinion, women's magazines are a major culprit. They want us to feel insecure with our bodies so we will buy the bras, clothing, diets, plastic surgery, etc that their advertises push on us. Men aren't made to feel insecure. Instead they use photos of "sexy" women to sell them products.

Women would like their bodies more if it wasn't for the garbage that advertisers and women's magazines push down our throats in the guise of "self-improvement."

Breasts are sexualized because we make them that way in society. At the turn of the century, a woman's bare ankle was sexualized and only women of loose "moral" character would ever show a bare ankle. Now who in society gives naked ankles a second thought?

Here in Palm Springs, our local Indian tribe is the Agua Caliente Tribe. The women lived topless for thousands of years until the white missionaries "civilized" them in the 1800's. They never knew that bare breasts were sexual and a "sin" until they were taught that by the missionaries.

It is sad that the writer of the article couldn't work up the courage to try topless sunbathing. I would bet she would be like most women, once you try it, you never want to wear a top again on the beach. Since she is going to Florida again in a few weeks. I wish her good luck in trying topless sunbathing. Get out of your comfort zone. Have some fun. You'll love it!

Topless swimmers win right to use city pools topless in Sweden

Swedish government officials get it right concerning women's rights to swim topless at city swimming pools.

For years women have been able to legally topless sunbathe on many Swedish beaches. But, starting in the 80's a backlash started growing against bare breasts. I guess maybe it is the Americanization of treating breasts as a sexual object instead of what they are mammary glands.

Now I hear from people who say that breasts should be covered because they are too sexy. But, at the same time people say some women's legs are very sexy. Should they be covered too? What about cleavage? Should that be outlawed? What about beautiful faces?

Eva Longoria is considered very sexy. Yet as far as I know she has never appeared topless. It is her face that makes her sexy judging by all the hair and cosmetic products she pitches. She we make pretty women cover their hair and faces like Muslim women do because they are sexy?

Here's the story:

"Women in Malmö have been given the right to bathe topless in the swimming pools of Sweden's third largest city.

The city's sports and recreation committee voted on Wednesday against a motion entitled: "Women with two-piece swimsuits ought to wear a top piece".

The committee eventually settled on the wording that "everybody should wear bathing suits" at Malmö pools but there is no requirement for women to cover their breasts...

But eventually the committee overcame its misgivings and the final decision was unanimous...

“Everyone is required to have a swimsuit when visiting the city’s indoor pools and if it doesn’t cover the upper body, that’s OK too.”...

"We don't define what bathing suits men should wear so it doesn't make much sense to do it for women. And besides, it's not unusual for men to have large breasts that resemble women's breasts," he said.

The Social Democrat politician feels the entire issue has been overblown.

“This is really not that big a problem,” he said...

Speaking to The Local at the time, Ragnhild Karlsson, 22, explained the womens' motives for swimming without bikini tops.

"It's a question of equality. I think it's a problem that women are sexualized in this way. If women are forced to wear a top, shouldn't men also have to?"

Outraged by what they regarded as discrimination, a group of women in southern Sweden made a show of solidarity by establishing the network, whose name translates as both "bare breasts" and "just breasts".

Topless Coffee shop in Maine burned down - Arson

A topless coffee shop opened in Maine a few months ago. Reading about it online, it was very popular with both male and female patrons.

Sadly, many closed minded (or clothed minded) people were very unhappy with it.

Now the funny thing is if you go to the south of France or Spain, at their beaches, there are many beach side cafes and coffee houses. At many of them, the wait staff, both male and female worked topless. In those countries it is no big deal as the clientele was also mainly topless since most beaches in these countries are topless beaches.

Here in the US, we make a big deal about the sight of a bare breast. Not so in Europe. Obviously, European countries are way more mature in their handling of the nude human body.

Here's the story:

"Topless coffee shop burns down; official says it was arson

...Shop's proprietor Donald Crabtree says he will rebuild even in a mobile trailer

Crabtree said he did not have insurance for the Grand View

...In the end, a coffee shop in Vassalboro, Maine, that gained national attention for its topless waiters and waitresses simply proved too hot -- the Grand View Topless Coffee Shop burned to the ground early Wednesday morning.

..."I really liked it here," waitress Krista Macentyre said after learning the cause of the fire. "We weren't hurting anyone. I don't know why someone would do something like this."

...For Crabtree the coffee shop literally was home. He and his two daughters, their two boyfriends, and his two infant grandchildren lived in quarters attached to the Grand View. The fire forced them to relocate to a motel.

...Crabtree said his 10 female and three male employees are "in shock."

While some Vassalboro residents expressed displeasure with the 18-and-over establishment, Crabtree said he had received no threats.

In a February interview with CNN shortly after Grand View opened, Crabtree said the coffee shop was doing brisk business in the small town of 4,500. "It's just been crowds mobbing in," he said at the time.

"This place was made to put smiles on people's faces," he said Wednesday.

Waitress Macentyre added, "This was a good innocent business."

"Every worker was just trying to take care of themselves and make a living -- just trying to live like everybody else," she said."

That is the one thing about nude recreation. It makes people happy. Now it would have been even better if the patrons could also enjoy their coffee topless like in Europe.

It is pretty scary that some people are that threatened by the sight of bare breasts that they burn down someones business. And even more scary is the owner of the business along with family members lived next to the coffee shop. They even had a 4 month old baby. The owner and family could have died in the fire if a ambulance had not noticed the fire and woke the owner.

It's sad that in America we still have so much hatred of the human body.

Some people in Maine are bent out of shape by a topless coffee and donut shop

A topless coffee and donut shop in Maine has been bothering some local citizens. One of the waitresses stepped outside topless. Read the results:

Topless Maine coffee shop draws ire, plenty of refills

... one man in Vassalboro, Maine, thought of it all when he opened a coffee and donut shop in February where the young wait staff, both men and women, are topless when they bring you your daily dose of caffeine.
All had been fine at the shop until one of the waitresses stepped outside still topless, forcing state troopers to make an appearance.
Star Cunningham... said she was only outside for one minute, and while the 22-year-old from Augusta admits to having no shirt on, she says she was completely covering her breasts with her arms. One minute was enough time, however, for an outsider to make a complaint...

Town residents will meet on June 8 to discuss an ordinance that will place regulations on businesses like Grand View. Though Maine currently has no prohibitions on either full or partial public nudity, the ordinance will list where, when, and how these types of town businesses are allowed to operate..."

Here is a mature comment to the story:
"Susan said:
A couple of years ago I lived in Maine and went topless in my back yard on a regular basis and nobody cared. I would also go topless at Popham beach and outside of few looks because being topless is not the norm nobody cared. It is not against the law to be topless in Maine; remember the topless lawnmower somewhere near Bangor? The girl was on the deck topless, so what! It is a breast, get over it, get used to it, stop making more of it than what it is, and stop hiding behind your kids; they probably have seen more breasts than any parent will ever know."

This is my take on the story. Because it is a donut shop, cops are attracted to it like lemmings. Or like moths to light. Yet, their bosses will be mad because it is topless. So cops are upset, because they can't sit around all day long eating donuts and goofing off. (Actually, I know it is not true as we have many fine law enforcement professionals that stay at my resort. I do love teasing them about donuts however).

And the funny thing is is you go to Europe to the beaches most of which are topless and some nude, you will see many restaurants where the wait staff both male and female are topless serving guests drinks, food, etc. It is no big deal there. Only in English speaking countries do we make a big deal over nudity.

125 years ago a bare ankle was scandalous. Now It is no big deal. In the 1700's women of the royal court in France went to balls with their breasts completely bare. It was the height of fashion for a young woman to expose her nipples. Times chance, skin is in again, so conservatives need to get over the sight of bare breasts.

Breasts show packs them in down under in Australia

Women are usually the most nervous about trying nude sunbathing or topless sunbathing. What we have found out is most women don't mind if other people see their bare breasts, they worry about how they compare to others.

They all have seen the airbrushed, enhanced, photo shopped photos in Playboy and think all women look like that, which is 100% not true.

There is no "normal" looking breasts. They are what they are.

There is a show playing in Australia that is all about breast freedom. I sounds hilarious.

Here is the story:

"The best of the breast

Letting it all hang out … Busting Out!

A titillating comedy has audiences swinging in the aisles, writes Clare Morgan.

I AM standing in a packed auditorium, clutching my breasts and jogging on the spot while a lactation consultant, Nurse Hung Low, barks instructions....

More to the point, who knew that mammary manipulation could be so funny?

At first blush, the comedy cabaret Busting Out! sounds like the chicks' version of Puppetry Of The Penis. But where that was merely a collection of occasionally eye-watering dick tricks, Busting Out! is a celebration of womanhood, subverting the idea of perky perfection and reclaiming the breast from its oversexualised context.

Still, it is shocking when Emma Powell and Bev Killick first go topless after a lusty "Show us your tits!" from the audience. What follows is a frequently hilarious show that includes songs, sketches, tricks (the doughnut, the sniffer dog, the baby, the topless barmaid who serves shooters with her hooters), sketches and brilliantly conceived shadow puppetry (Batman will never be the same again) - all shown on a big screen for maximum impact.

Not bad for a show that had its genesis when Powell dashed naked from the shower to answer the phone and heard her left breast slapping against her body. "It was like ooh, the sound of one tit clapping," she says. "Breast applause" became a popular dressing-room trick until Powell, a talented singer who has appeared in numerous musicals and cabaret shows, including a starring role in the touring production of Mamma Mia!...

"People have always said to me 'Write what you know' and breasts have been in my life and an issue for me since I was young," says Powell, who was teased from an early age because of her ample bosom.

The result was D-Cuppetry: Dance Of The D Cups, which premiered at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2006...

She was persuaded to go on stage and, with Louise Steele, first went topless for a five-minute festival preview. "We had no idea how it would go down, so we did have a strong scotch beforehand. But it was great; they loved it."...

"I've never had a problem with nudity at all," she says. "To be in a show where I can be funny, dance a little, sing a little, act a little and get my boobs out, how good is that?"

Powell, by contrast, says she could never have done the show 10 years ago. "I'm actually quite modest by nature. But being late 30s when I started, I thought, 'this is who I am, there's nothing I can do about it'."

...Perhaps it's that empowerment that persuades some audience members to indulge in a little nudity of their own.

"We have had a 70-year-old woman get up and flash her tits," Killick says. "She'd come up on stage for the bra trick [where two women race to remove their bra from under their clothes] and I was telling her to get them out and after a bit of prompting, she did. The place went berserk."

Not surprisingly, audiences are predominantly female, with hen's nights generating a particularly boisterous mood. Says Powell: "The nights when it's 95 per cent women, it goes through the roof. Men love it too but it's just a different energy with women." The pair seem to have hit on a winning formula...

Eva Mendes - Nudist resorts spokeswoman?

Just imagine how the popularity of nudist resorts would explode if Eva Mendes was a spokeswomen for vacationing at nudist resorts.

Eva, feels very comfortable with nudity. She has constantly said she doesn't understand why Americans are so hung up about the sight of a naked human body and why so many people prefer violence over the beauty nudity.

Part of the problem with the popularity of nudism is it is portrayed in the media as an activity that caters to older people. Andyone who has been to Europe or to our resort, the Terra Cotta Inn clothing optional resort and spa, Palm Springs know this isn't true. We have all ages from their 20's to 70's stay at our hotel just like you would find at a regular hotel like a Marriott, etc.

Eva, is sexy and hip. If nudism had a woman like Eva promoting the fun of topless or nude sunbathing, I predict nudism would explode with popularity.

Eva, produced an ad for Calvin Klein perfumes which was banned on TV because it showed for a fraction of a second one of her bare nipples. And we know how evil nipples are in America. You could say Americans are obsessed with nipples. Look at the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. Or for instance, look at John Ashcroft, president Bush's first Attorney General. He covered the bare breasts of the statue of justice in Washington, DC. I guess he did that so that when he talked, reporters would know which boob to pay attention to.

The sight of Eva Mendes's must be very evil. The next thing you know, the Surgeon General is going to issue a warning - the sight of Eva Mendes's niples cause blindness.

It must be true, the way everyone wants to ban her new Calvin Klein video where for a fraction of a second you can see Ms. Mendes's bare nipples.

Although the ad was banned by TV, it had been running on YouTube in its entirety for around a month or so. Well it appears google, the parent company that owns Youtube is also afraid of the sight of bare nipples. About a month ago google, they also own blogger.com, decided to censored all of the popular nudist blogs like this blog. That is why this blog has no pictures showing regular nudist activities. Well I guess the sight of Eva Mendes's bare nipples for even a second is too much for google as they have now banned that Youtube commercial.

First the FCC banned the TV commercial, now Youtube has banned it. What next? Congress passing a law requiring Eva to keep her shirt on for the rest of her life?

Isn't it fun living in a free society like America. You can show as much violence as you like to impressionable little children, but dare to show simple nudity like on NYPD Blue or in this Calvin Klein ad and you have the full force of the government and google coming down against you.

Here is the story:

"Eva Mendes Naked Calvin Klein Commercial Banned (Video)

Eva Mendes naked Calvin Klein commercial got banned on YouTube. Its said to be too naughty for American audiences! Read about it below and see photos and the banned video below.

...Actually, she’s not banned, just her latest Calvin Klein ad got banned. It was taken off YouTube without much of an explanation. Apparently, people complained about an itty-bitty glimpse of a Eva Mendes nipple in the video.

...Of course, the only thing the men watching the video are obsessed with is how the hell they are going to get a screen shot of that nip slip during the video. Hey guys, we’ve got the video here. Watch it all you want. Its just below the jump. Just remember its NSFW."
