Naturists and nudists all know that The Terra Cotta Inn is the nude sunbathing leader in Palm Springs, California and one of the most popular resorts in the whole town. Again, the only one in Palm Springs that was recommended. Of course in other years the USA Today, Huffington Post, Chicago Tribune, New York Times and way more have picked Terra Cotta Inn as one of the 10 best in the US or world. We work hard to be the nudist leaders in town and the press knows it.

The Terra Cotta Inn does not sit back and relax with all of our press write ups. We are constantly improving our resort and guest experiences.

There are many reasons why we have been the nudist resort leader of Palm Springs. We were the 1st of ALL hotels in Palm Springs to convert our pool and Jacuzzi to state of the art salt water systems so we don't have to use all the harsh chemicals like typical pools.

Yes, even though the lodging industry greatly frowns on hotels advertising on other hotel names especially with adwords, for instance you will never see a Hilton place ads on Marriott's name on the internet, we understand that some places don't have our repeat guest rate percentages (Terra Cotta's is 80% repeats, one of the highest in the travel industry). We assume these places need short term business really bad in these hard economic times and are hoping to get some of our overflow.

Although other places have been advertising on our name for years, and guests of ours constantly comment that they would never stay at those places, even when we're full as they don't like how those places are taking advantage of all our hard work, we have never complained as those places admit by their advertising, that Terra Cotta is the nudist resort leader in Palm Springs which is why they only advertise on our name in Palm Springs.

Guests ALWAYS tell us that they sleep better here than at any other hotel anywhere else that they have been to.

Right now, we have installed new tile floors in about 30% of our rooms as we have have just 1 person working at a time here as we don't like workmen disturbing our guests relaxation. Again, we always care about our guests. Hopefully by early next year all of the rooms will have new tile floors.

Seattle sets record for not cracking 75F

Last year started a trend. Although we are located in California, the #1 home state of our guests last year for the first time was Washington. Canada was #2, and California #3.

Now we have always catered to couples on vacation. Where all other nudist resorts out west are mainly weekend getaways, we have had the guests from all over the US, Canada, England, and Australia. We are busy 7 days a week, not just Saturday nights.
