Nude sunbathers told to go home in Wales

This is a very interesting story. There are 2 themes. First story theme is there are too many single men walking around naked at the nude beach. Next, a city councillor says nudists should stay away for the sake of the children.

The single men is a very interesting comment. This was made by non nudists.

We have been to nude beaches. The biggest complaint that Mary Clare has is there are always too many single men. It is not comfortable when sometimes the men out number the women 10 to 1 or more.

Every week, we will have at least 1 or 2 men call saying their first experience was at a nude beach and their wife/girlfriend hated it because there were so many single men. The guy thought the nude beach would be best because nude beaches are impersonal. They're not like nudist resorts which are very social.

Of course nude beaches are the BIGGEST mistake of nervous first timers. If a woman has a bad first nude experience, odds are she will NEVER try it again. That is why so many first timers fly from around the world to our resort so they have a good first experience.

Last week, we were at Baker nude beach in San Francisco. Mary Clare was the ONLY woman that went nude when we were there. There were probably 50 guys of which 30 had shorts or trunks on and 20 were nude. Mary Clare was very uncomfortable. Plus, it was freezing. It was sunny, but in the mid 50's in temperature.

Above is a pic of the beach. If you look, you do not see any naked women there.

The other comment, by the city councillor is "it's not fair for families with young children."

If prudes don't have their mommies aprons to hide behind, they drag up, "because of the children." Study after study show kids don't care about nudity. Only prudish adults care. Obviously this city councillor does not have the guts to say, "I am a prude, so I am going to hide behind the children issue."

Here's the story:

"North Wales News Traeth Llanddwyn tells nudists: 'Put your clothes on or keep away'

NUDE bathers hoping to bare all on a beach on Anglesey have been told: “Put your clothes on – or keep away.”

"...recently it has attracted a growing number of naturists – including single men walking nude among the sand dunes – which has angered local people.

Local councillor Enid Mummery said: “We don’t want nudists here.

“It’s not fair for families with young children. Llanddwyn is not a beach for nudists.”

...The only official beach for nudists in Wales is at Morfa Dyffryn between Barmouth and Harlech, Gwynedd.

British Naturism’s Andrew Welch said: “It’s not an offence to be a naturist – like it or not.

“It’s not something you can stop. It would be like saying to somebody with green-coloured hair: ‘You can’t come into this pub’.”

Mr Welch said naturists were not associated with “exhibitionists who parade around in the nude to meet other people and have sex.”

... There’s no bylaw to stop them. It isn’t an offence to be nude, it’s only an offence when somebody is offended.”

...Wil added: “We have found men walking along the dunes stark naked. We’ve had local people complaining that they can’t go on the beach with their families which is one of the finest in North Wales.”

...“We have no plans to impose a ban on nudism, but we will react to any complaints and follow police advice on how to deal with them.”
