Today and tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14, there will be a fantastic meteor shower, the Perseid shower. And the media says Palm Springs, California is one of the best places in the US to see the shower because of our clear skies and because we do not have lots of light pollution. There is no moon on Friday and Saturday, so this will be the best meteor shower show in over 20 years.
