United Airlines last week kicked off a Thanksgiving airfare sale. Now American Airlines has joined in.

Purchase Requirements: Tickets booked on AA.com must be purchased within 1 day of making reservations.
Travel Period: Fares are valid for travel November 20 through December 2, 2009.
Valid Travel Days: Sale fares are valid for travel daily.
Min/Max Stay: Up to a Saturday-night stay may be required, based on destination.
Reservation
Ticket Type: Fares shown are each way, based on round-trip purchase and are in U.S. dollars.
Availability: Seats are limited and sale fares may not be available on all flights. Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice.
